Overview

PAGNY has a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician opportunity with NYC Health + Hospitals / South Brooklyn Health . This position is a part of the Shared Service Line Model. Our maternity care team features board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians and an experienced team of certified sonographers, who take great care in helping women manage their health at every stage of pregnancy, childbirth, delivery, and infancy. We diagnose and manage obstetric, medical, surgical, and fetal complications of pregnancy and perform advanced pregnancy ultrasound, consultations, genetic testing and counseling, fetal testing and support for high risk pregnancies. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain high standards of healthcare delivery.

Base pay range

$485,400.00 / yr - $495,400.00 / yr

Opportunity Details

• Provide direct MFM care to patients in both an Inpatient and Outpatient setting
• Perform MFM procedures (amniocentesis and cerclage)
• Provide outpatient coverage of the MFM Sono Unit and ambulatory practice
• Preconception consultations and antepartum testing
• Share in the call coverage schedule for night and weekend MFM consultations
• Provide supervision and teaching to Residents and Medical Students, including didactic sessions
• Collaborative care with Ob / Gyn providers
• Shared Service Line Model expectations :
• Covering other hospital sites for clinical, on-call, vacation, and other needs that arise
• Coverage schedules will be set by the Shared Services Team and facility leadership
• Covers multiple NYC Health + Hospitals locations, including NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County and NYC Health + Hospitals / South Brooklyn Health
