The Industrial Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising all activities of the plant Industrial Engineers and reports to the plant Industrial Engineering Manager. The IE Supervisor will manage all IE processes (Manpower and line hourly rates) to the targets outlined by the IE Manager. This includes leading actions to achieve productivity objectives with the Industrial Engineers and Mid-Level management at the plant.
The Supervisor will interact with all levels of management and union leadership daily on all matters related to the development and maintenance of all plant IE standard processes in accordance with UAW contractual language and ISO requirements. The positions also support development of direct and indirect labor budgets with corporate industrial engineering teams, new program system design reviews and optimization as well as performs indirect labor and ergonomics studies with plant Industrial Engineers. The IE Supervisor will support all activities related to Stellantis Production Way (SPW) and the Workplace Organization Domain alongside the IE Team.
This position will assist the IE Manager in planning / adjusting manpower according to assembly plants' production schedules and building plant budget, as well as support with the day-to-day management of shop floor activities.

- Submit reports as required on a timely basis
- Work with corresponding SPW Pillar Leads
- Ensure SPW tools and methodologies are followed as part of everyday work
- Support Budget and Business Plan development once per calendar year
- Conduct special studies as requested by IE Manager
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in engineeringMinimum 5 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience with time and motion studies, development of standardized work, manpower estimation, and standard dataMust understand manufacturing systems and demonstrate the ability to apply throughput management process techniques and assess equipment capacityStrong skill set in root cause analysis, practical problem-solving and Data collection and analysisDemonstrate the ability to learn new things, understand current process and develop new or improved methods / processesPractical knowledge and understanding of traditional lean manufacturing systemsBasic knowledge of Stellantis Production Way (SPW) principlesAbility to lead a team and give clear directionsStrong skills in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skillsPreferred Qualifications :
Degree in Industrial EngineeringAt least 1 year of Supervisory experienceMTM-UAS or MODAPTS certificationExperience working in a union environmentKnowledge / experience with AutoCAD
