Weighted Essential Duties and Tasks :
Key responsibilities
- Function as a liaison between employees and HR management, addressing workplace concerns and facilitating effective communication by being a problem solver.
- Provide guidance and support with conflict resolution, employee grievances, policy violations and complaints which could result in conducting employee investigations including recommendations of appropriate corrective actions.
- Support HR in implementing policies that promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
- Oversee HR policies administration, ensuring compliance with policies, government laws and regulation including labor laws while supporting employees through all processes including all employees leaves (FMLA, STD, LOA, WC).
- Keep HR records accurate and up to date and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including employee handbook, compliance documents, and assist in developing and rolling out HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with benefits administration and help employees with questions about enrollment and coverage
- Stay on top of federal and state labor laws—like wage laws, paid leave, and safety requirements—to keep the company compliant
- Support performance reviews and employee development plans
- Assist in conducting training and coaching sessions for employees and managers on HR policies, workplace behavior, and conflict resolution.
- Perform other related duties as required or as assigned by management
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) :
