About The Role
We are looking for a senior level Corporate Accounting professional to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will support the financial close process and reporting, as well as ad hoc projects as they arise. You will work cross‑functionally across the organization and solve complex problems on a regular basis. Responsibilities
- Act as the primary preparer in month‑end and quarter‑end close calendar, checklist, and reconciliations.
- Prepare materials for monthly and quarterly flux presentations validating P&L and adding deep insight that connects to stories in the business
- Ensure and build proper accounting procedures, internal controls, and compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and ultimately ensure accuracy of financial statements and related reports
- Take ownership and accountability over accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders
- Support the preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, and reports in compliance with US GAAP and relevant reporting standards
- Leverage AI and accounting tools to automate accounting processes where possible
- Support system implementations (ERP, lease accounting software, asset lifecycle management)
- Assist with and prepare technical accounting areas including ASC 842. Partner with Technical Accounting on technical memos and prepare and operate lease schedules
- Assist in preparing accounting policies as needed by leveraging technical accounting guidance and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to obtain relevant information in order to form a basis for conclusions
- Collaborate with external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and ensure on‑time completion of such timelines
You May Be a Good Fit If You
Have 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in startup or high‑growth environments with 2+ years of experience in a public companyHold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or equivalent preferredExhibit strong organizational and time‑management abilitiesPossess a keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAre a self‑starter able to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong Candidates May Also
