Our team is growing, and we are currently looking for a full time Billing Clerk and Deposit Clerk to join our accounting department.

Position Summary
This role supports the accounting team by handling daily deposits, billing processes, and transaction postings. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment with deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Pull and post daily bank deposits for Service, Parts, and Finance
Maintain and reconcile deposit schedules daily
Pull and post credit card transactions for Service, Parts, and Finance
Maintain and update credit card schedules and related notes
Review and verify deals for compliance using internal checklists
Post vehicle sale transactions to the accounting ledger
Prepare check requests for trade payoffs
Send contracts and payoffs to lenders
Maintain and update notes on billing related schedules
Verify rebates on deals and process rebates through the appropriate manufacturer portal when required
Process weekly floorplan payments and loans
Handle incoming calls related to billing inquiries
Assist with verifying daily Service and Parts tickets when needed
Maintain a professional appearance and organized work area
Comply with federal, state, and local laws as well as company policies related to safeguarding information
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
At least one year of accounting experience required
Dealership accounting or administrative experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and a calculator
Working knowledge of Word and Excel
Willingness to learn internal systems
Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to pass pre employment background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening
