Job Title : Industrial Designer, Automotive

Quala is seeking an Industrial Designer for a 6+ month contract role working on-site in Foster City, CA. This is an opportunity to work as part of a team that is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market. Responsibilities

• Develop design themes for our vehicle and hardware products from sketch, prototype, through production
• Work closely and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver completed, on time, and high-quality vehicle and hardware designs
• Create high-quality digital and physical presentation materials that communicate the design intent at any phase in a project and present design concepts to internal teams and executives
• Contribute to the evolving teamwork, design culture, and processes in the studio
• Create product designs that align with our vision and brand
