Job Description
Will be responsible for purchasing the services and supplies necessary for the organization's operations. This role involves applying procurement expertise to implement best practices and supply management strategies. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance customer service and support business excellence across multiple categories.
Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and promote procurement tools and strategies.
Support category management with supplier scorecards and sustainability initiatives.
Assist in achieving annual targets and supporting category goals.
Manage contracts, supplier selection, and process efficiency.
Educate stakeholders on procurement solutions and tools.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and tools.
Communicate and implement changes within the organization.
Resolve issues related to procurement technology and supplier performance.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field
Procurement expertise
Experience with Ariba
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of ERP systems
Experience in buying / purchasing
Supplier management
Inventory management
Work Environment
This position is a year-long commitment with the potential for extension. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, on-site 8am to 5pm, with the possibility of working remotely one day a week after a 4-6 month training period.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00 / hr.
