Job Details

• 140 hospital beds

4-bed open ICU

One physician per day

Hospitalist is on site 7am-5pm and on call 5pm-7pm

SCP Health Telehospitalist Hub covers hospital medicine service 7pm-7am

Part of the Ochsner Lafayette General Health System

Collegial work environment with ED managed by SCP

7 on / 7 off block schedule

Subspecialty support in Cardiology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Hematology / Oncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Radiology, Urology

Ochsner Acadia General Hospital - American Legion Post 15 is a 140-bed, non-profit hospital, part of Ochsner Lafayette General Health system. The hospital provides acute medical and surgical care, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatric, orthopedic, otolaryngology, 24 / 7 cardiology services, hyperbaric medicine and much more. With a brand new emergency department, Acadia General Hospital offers top-notch patient care maintaining excellent patient satisfaction rates.
