About the Role We are seeking an experienced Advertising Operations Manager to join our Advertising Operations team. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to work remotely or from our office in Alexandria, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have at least one full campaign cycle of hands-on experience in self-service ad platforms, with a demonstrated ability to translate in-platform decisions into meaningful outcomes that align with customer goals.

In this role you will :

Own the launch, pacing, and optimization of campaigns for your book of CSM customers

Place and manage video campaigns across 3+ DSPs, YouTube, and Meta

Collaborate with the Customer Success and Sales teams to translate customer persuasion and mobilization goals into coherent digital programs

Partner with vendors including DSPs, SSPs, audience providers, and verification companies to stay abreast of the latest innovations and bring them to our customers

Work late hours and occasionally on weekends to support high-profile political campaigns during election season

Mentor less experienced team members to help them learn the ins and outs of effective political media buying

Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on-keyboard experience within the political vertical in at least one DSP

The ability to operate independently and take ownership of issues when they arise

A proven ability to analyze data and extract insights from platform reporting suites, Excel spreadsheets, and dashboards. Bonus points if you are proficient in SQL

Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize, multi-task and juggle multiple complex projects

Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

A positive attitude and a desire to lead
