Summary

The Packaging Manager oversees all aspects of cannabis product packaging, ensuring compliance with regulations, quality standards and operational efficiency. This role manages the Packaging Team, optimizes workflows and ultimately provides inventory for sale. The Packaging Manager collaborates with key departments to meet production goals, ensuring all packaged products compliantly meet safety, potency and quality requirements. This role reports to the Senior Production Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Scheduling

• Leads, manages and develops the Packaging Team to enable high performance.
• Creates and maintains production schedules to ensure packaging output meets monthly and quarterly production for sale targets.
• Develops and implement training systems to improve team efficiency and processes.
• Oversees and communicates production priorities to the Packaging Team to consistently deliver against KPIs well

Manufacturing environment that requires extended time standing, walking, bending and reaching. Ability to carry up to 50lbs for up to a distance of 100ft may be required.
