Sheet Metal Installer, Cleveland, OH

As a Sheet Metal Installer, you will be responsible for installing sheet metal and ductwork, cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal to required dimensions, and building ducts. You will work with basic hand tools, including tin snips, hammers, impact drivers, grinders, sawzalls, tape measures, and tongs, and be required to run thermostat wire and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

Install sheet metal and ductwork on commercial and industrial projects. Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensions. Utilize hand tools such as tin snips, hammers, impact drivers, grinders, sawzalls, tape measures, and tongs. Build ducts and run thermostat wire. Interpret and work from blueprints.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 3 years of experience in ductwork installation on commercial / industrial projects. Proficiency in using construction hand tools. Experience in measuring and cutting sheet metal. Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal for over 3 years. Blueprint knowledge is an advantage.

Work Environment

This role involves working on commercial and industrial job sites. You will need to drive your own vehicle to job sites, which are typically within a 30-mile radius, but can extend to 50 miles. Any travel beyond this radius qualifies for mileage reimbursement. Work hours are typically from 7 AM to 4 PM, but may vary depending on job requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $32.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
