Recruiting Coordinator

You will partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, engineers, and business leaders to keep our hiring engine running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, obsessed with details, and thrives in a high-velocity environment. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule phone screens, onsite interviews, and technical panels across multiple time zones with precision and speed.
- Serve as the first impression for many candidates own all candidate communication with professionalism, clarity, and warmth.
- Deliver a seamless end-to-end candidate experience, ensuring candidates feel informed, respected, and well-supported at every step.
- Maintain accurate tracking, notes, and pipeline progress in our ATS (Greenhouse strongly preferred).
- Prepare interview agendas, scorecards, materials, and logistics to keep hiring teams aligned and ready.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to support structured, efficient, and consistent interview processes.
- Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or last-minute changes with a solutions-oriented, calm-under-pressure approach.
- Support metrics, reporting, and data integrity initiatives that help us continuously improve our recruiting engine.
- Act as the onsite host for interviews welcome candidates, provide workspace tours, and introduce them to Varda's culture and environment.
- Support recruiting events, university programs, and onsite engagements that help build Varda's talent pipeline.
Qualifications
2+ years as a Recruiting Coordinator in a fast pace, high volume hiring environment. Start Up experience at plus.Experience supporting multiple recruiters or engineering-heavy hiring teams.Experience working with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality with discretion.Service-driven approach with excellent people skills.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, including complex multi-party scheduling.Experience with an Applicant Tracking System; Greenhouse preferred.Impeccable organization and attention to detail; you catch the things others miss.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High-volume scheduling experience or similar fast-paced coordination work.Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Pay Range
Pay Range : $31 - $43 per hourThis role is on-site in El Segundo, CALeveling and base salary is determined by job-related skills, education level, experience level, and job performanceYou will be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of stock options and / or long-term cash awardsBenefits
