Job Description

Pattern Promotions We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to kickstart their career in the events industry. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of a wide variety of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and organization of events from inception to execution
  • Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual needs
  • Support the marketing team in promoting events through social media and other channels
  • Assist with registration and attendee management before and during events
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service
  • Help to create event materials such as programs, invitations, and signage

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
