Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Oracle Middleware for our client in Chicago, IL.

Duration : 15 months

Duties :

Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle SOA 12c composite applications, web services, and REST APIs using BPEL, Mediator, business rules, and adapters (JMS, REST, File / FTP, DB).

Provide ongoing technical support and monitoring for existing SOA composites to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Design and implement new integration solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues involving BPEL processes, Mediator flows, and various adapters (File / FTP, DB, JMS, REST).

Ensure all service development adheres to established development standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.

Participate in production deployments, go-live activities, and provide post-deployment support as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust and scalable integration solutions.

Adapt and refine existing architecture to meet evolving business goals and technical requirements.

Skills :

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12c and related components (BPEL, Mediator, Adapters, Business Rules).

Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging SOA integrations across environments.

Experience developing web services (SOAP and REST) and integrating with external systems via adapters (DB, JMS, FTP).

Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) design principles and best practices.

Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server and deployment processes.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Good to have : Basic knowledge of Java for customization and extension of SOA components.

Experience :

10+ years of experience as an Oracle SOA Developer, with demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level integration solutions.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00 / hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
