Interlude Coffee & Tea is a cafe in TriBeCa, known for specialty coffee, matcha, tea, and in-house baked pastries.   • Hospitality is just as important as technical skills, and applicants must be able to provide excellent customer service while working efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Employees are responsible for providing a welcoming and professional customer experience while maintaining speed and efficiency.
  • Drink preparation must be executed with precision, following all recipes and standards to ensure consistency in every order.
  • The cafe must always be kept spotless, which includes dishwashing, wiping surfaces, restocking, and keeping everything organized throughout the shift.
  • Employees must be able to handle high-pressure situations, stay composed, and keep up with demand, especially during peak hours.
  • Communication and teamwork are essential, and everyone is expected to support one another to keep operations running smoothly and maintain a positive environment.
  • All procedures and standards must be followed exactly as trained, with no shortcuts or deviations.

  • Scheduling Requirements

  • This is a full-time position requiring 35-40 hours per week across five shifts.
  • Shifts are typically 7-10 hours long and may start as early as 6 : 30 a.m. or end as late as 6 : 00 p.m.
  • Applicants must be available for a consistent schedule over an extended period.
  • We do not offer flexible or part-time scheduling at this time.
