About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (08 : 00 - 16 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 3 years required

License : Must have required licensure in hand prior to start

Certifications : BLS, RCDS or RCS required

Must-Have :

• Stress testing experience is required

Description :

Monday to Friday schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.

Rotating call every other week with one weekend day.

Up to 5 days of call per month required.

Must be willing to work 4 out of the 8 identified holidays.

High acuity patient care environment.

Daily caseload expectation of approximately 7 to 9 patients.

Each patient exam is estimated at 1 hour.

Bedside exams are commonplace.

Chemical and physical stress exams preferred.

Interdisciplinary team support is available.

Special procedures such as treadmill and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms are required.

Must hold RDCS or RCS credential.

Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility.

No locals accepted.

Pending state license accepted if required licensure is secured prior to start.
