Job Title: Paraeducator / Class Aide (Full-Time)
Location: Stockton, CA
Compensation: $18-$23 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Schedule: Full-Time, School Hours (Monday-Friday)

Job Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Paraeducators and Class Aides to support students in school settings across Stockton, CA. These roles are essential in helping students thrive both academically and personally by working directly with teachers and school staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with instruction, classroom activities, and student support
• Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce lessons and provide guidance
• Supervise students in classrooms, cafeterias, hallways, and playgrounds
• Provide personal care support (toileting, hygiene, mobility) when needed
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Perform clerical tasks such as copying, filing, and data tracking
• Participate in team meetings and trainings

Qualifications:

• Must meet one of the following:
• 48 college semester units
• Passing score on the ParaPro Exam
• No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Certificate
• 1+ year experience working with children (preferred)
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and other personal care tasks
• Strong communication skills and a positive, student-centered attitude
• Ability to lift and assist students, and remain active throughout the day
• Able to pass background check and meet school district requirements
