Greenbough Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and service-driven Director of Dietary Services to lead our Food Services Department. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a clean, safe, and regulatory-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Direct daily operations of the dietary department
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain exceptional standards of sanitation and safety
Collaborate with the facility Dietitian to plan menus and therapeutic diets
Supervise, schedule, and develop dietary staff
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls
Support infection control and organizational quality initiatives
Qualifications
High school diploma required
Graduate of or currently enrolled in an accredited dietetic program
State certification as a Food Service Director
Minimum two years of supervisory experience in healthcare food service
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and dietary best practices
