We are seeking an experienced and visionary Resident District Manager to lead an exceptional dining services program at The University in Binghamton, NY. This role oversees all aspects of a multifaceted dining operation, including residential dining, retail food outlets, catering, and conference services , serving both year-round and seasonal operations.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, people-focused leader who excels in complex environments and is passionate about delivering outstanding culinary experiences, driving operational excellence, and building strong client partnerships within a higher education setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage dining operations across residential, retail, catering, and conference service areas.
• Partner with university stakeholders to align dining services with institutional goals and student needs.
• Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control, and labor management.
• Champion initiatives in sustainability, diversity and inclusion, student engagement, and local sourcing .
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across all teams.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop team members, supporting career growth and internal advancement.

Position Summary :

The Resident District Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a large and complex dining account with multiple service lines and locations. This role is responsible for operational success, financial performance, client satisfaction, and staff development.
