Kent & McBride, P.C., a growing regional Civil Defense Litigation firm, is seeking a motivated Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our Cherry Hill, NJ office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of Workers' Compensation litigation for defense clients.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, gather evidence, and develop case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft essential legal documents, including motions and appellate briefs.
  • Make required Court appearances and effectively argue cases before Judges.
  • Handle negotiations and mediation to achieve favorable settlements for clients.
  • Take and defend depositions and participate in bench trials as needed.
  • Provide regular and clear reports on case status to Partners and Clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • J.D. Degree from an accredited law school.
  • Mandatory : Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
  • Experience : 1-5 years of Workers' Compensation experience preferred, but New Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Skills :
  • Demonstrated courtroom experience or strong public speaking / advocacy skills.

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stay highly organized and consistently meet rigid deadlines.
