Position Overview
Deliver quality clinical treatment services that are responsive to individual needs, reflective of current research, and evidence-based practice. Support clients in achieving successful completion from treatment. Maintain expected clinical hours, minimum of 20 billable services per week. Provide treatment in compliance with ethical standards and Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs). Maintain a therapeutic environment in which staff work with one another to determine the optimal clinical approach. Serve as a representative of the Rimrock Trails mission, on and off the work site.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Demonstrates understanding of diagnostic placement criteria and treatment modalities for substance use and mental health disorders.Utilizes a variety of models for the treatment of individuals in a culturally competent way.Interventions are developed collaboratively with the client.Provides individual, group, and family therapy meeting documentation standards and timeframes.Explores need for family therapy for each episode of care, unless otherwise indicated.Utilizes a trauma-informed, holistic approach to clients and families.Utilizes Collaborative documentation.Actively engages as a part of the therapeutic process to achieve treatment goals.Utilizes individualized interventions to address the needs of clients, or groups, and families.Demonstrates appropriate physical and emotional boundaries.Adheres to professional code of ethics.Maintains confidentiality in accordance with Federal and State laws, agency policies and procedures, as well as all HIPAA regulations.Attends all required training and acquires education hours needed to uphold certification / licensure.Meets regularly with the Clinical Supervisor per current OARs.Expected to obtain CADC certification within no more than two years of hire.Professionalism / Communication / Attitude

The Outpatient Counselor must negotiate the conflicting demands of providing evidenced-based treatment, care coordination, completing required documentation, and the response to outside requests for records.Organizational Relationships
The Outpatient Counselor reports to and will receive clinical supervision from the Program Director.Work Relationships : The Outpatient Counselor collaboratively works with other clinicians, Recovery Mentors, and outside community partners.Minimum Qualifications

Earning potential is based upon clinicians who work for us. Clinicians make from $82,660.00 to $120,000 per year (working 4 days per week). Income depends on your ability to engage with clients and the clients desire to continue to see you as their therapist as well as how many clients you schedule in your calendar. Your earning potential is up to you!Client Caseload : Full-Load is defined as a 20hr-client caseload per week, consisting of variable length sessions equivalent to 20 hours. This is the minimum expectation for full-time status. You're welcome to see more clients if that aligns with your personal and professional goals.Physical Job Description
Typical Working Conditions : This position is fully remote. The position requires the ability to lift up to 25lbs on an occasional basis and utilize typical office equipment, including but not limited to a computer, printer / copier, binding equipment. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time throughout the day. Housekeeping duties may include, but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cooking, laundry, cleaning surfaces, bathroom facilities, watering.
