Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of acute care experience and ARRT (R) certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Acute care hospital setting covering General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and portable imaging
  • Department features 4 general X-ray rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, and utilizes GE, Shimadzu, OEC, and SECTRA PACS equipment
  • Average daily volume is 80-100 studies across all modalities
  • Shifts are Wednesday to Friday from 08 : 00 to 20 : 30, with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
  • Floating required between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portable exams
  • Epic EMR and SECTRA PACS are used in the department
  • Some call may be required with a 45-minute response time
  • Schedules may include some weekend and holiday coverage as needed
  • Responsibilities include performing a full range of imaging studies for general X-ray, fluoroscopy, surgical, and emergency departments
  • Direct clinical support and guidance provided by an imaging supervisor and modality lead techs
  • 24 / 7 in-house radiologist coverage provided
  • No IV starts required, but IV skills are valued
  • Scrub attire may be any professional color; hospital scrubs provided only for OR assignments
  • First three days typically consist of department orientation
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting
  • Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS required
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification required
  • Must have OR imaging experience
  • Experience performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and operating room exams
  • Active state Radiologic Technologist license required at the time of consideration; license required if applicable
  • Radiation badge must be obtained prior to starting assignment
  • Must provide own lead markers
  • Experience with Epic EMR and SECTRA PACS preferred
  • Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
  • Two professional references : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months, and one from a supervisor or peer within the last 3 years
