American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of acute care experience and ARRT (R) certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Acute care hospital setting covering General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and portable imagingDepartment features 4 general X-ray rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, and utilizes GE, Shimadzu, OEC, and SECTRA PACS equipmentAverage daily volume is 80-100 studies across all modalitiesShifts are Wednesday to Friday from 08 : 00 to 20 : 30, with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per weekFloating required between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portable examsEpic EMR and SECTRA PACS are used in the departmentSome call may be required with a 45-minute response timeSchedules may include some weekend and holiday coverage as neededResponsibilities include performing a full range of imaging studies for general X-ray, fluoroscopy, surgical, and emergency departmentsDirect clinical support and guidance provided by an imaging supervisor and modality lead techs24 / 7 in-house radiologist coverage providedNo IV starts required, but IV skills are valuedScrub attire may be any professional color; hospital scrubs provided only for OR assignmentsFirst three days typically consist of department orientation\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care settingCurrent ARRT (R) certification and BLS requiredCertified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification requiredMust have OR imaging experienceExperience performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and operating room examsActive state Radiologic Technologist license required at the time of consideration; license required if applicableRadiation badge must be obtained prior to starting assignmentMust provide own lead markersExperience with Epic EMR and SECTRA PACS preferredCopy of driver’s license required for considerationTwo professional references : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months, and one from a supervisor or peer within the last 3 years\n Benefits\n
