State Licensed Government Consultant

A company is looking for a Governmental Advisory Services Senior Consultant, Remote Eligible.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee advisory engagements and special studies related to government financial, operational, and policy issues

Manage a team performing assessments of processes and internal controls, providing recommendations for improvements

Ensure client accounting and financial reporting objectives are met, including reconciliations and financial reporting

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

5-10 years of experience in the government industry, including supervisory experience

Active CPA license or relevant professional certification preferred

Advanced knowledge of government accounting and financial management standards

Ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships and pursue new business opportunities
