Integrity Learning Center is looking to hire a dynamicOccupational Therapist (OT)to join our Pediatric Therapy Department located in Plainfield, Indiana.This unique position will allow a motivated individual the opportunity to work with outpatient and ABA learners asa partof our comprehensive therapy program.
Integrity is searching for passionate and motivated candidates who love to learn and apply their knowledge toward helping families who have a child with a developmental disability orAutism Spectrum Disorder.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for the Occupational Therapy department, including developing creative and effective programming, establishing best practices, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage the Occupational Therapy team once established, including supervision, scheduling, performance feedback, and fostering professional growth among team members.
- Maintain a smaller personal caseload to allow for effective departmental management, staff support, and program development.
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans for a wide variety of diagnoses.
- Modify treatment plans as needed and applyappropriate therapeutic techniques to support functional, sensory, motor, and self-help skill development.
- Complete prior authorization reports, evaluations, progress notes, quarterly updates, and all documentationin a timely manner.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, clinicians, families, and other providers to achieveoptimal client outcomes.
- Participate in teaching opportunities, student clinical education, and interdisciplinary program planning.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and mandatory training / licensure requirements.
- Interact professionally and respectfully with clients, families, staff, teachers, and other providers.
- Consistentlydemonstrate high integrity and alignment with the companys core values.
Qualifications
Masters or Doctorate Degree in Occupational TherapyNBCOT RegistrationLicensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Indiana (or license eligible)Pediatric experience preferred, but notrequiredMust be energetic and enjoy working with childrenWhy work with Integrity?
