Job Title : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Med-Surg Unit (Night Shift, 3x12s)

Location : Washington, DC Schedule : 3x12 Hour Night Shifts Rate : $22 / hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical-Surgical (MS) Unit on a night shift (3x12) schedule. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and skilled patient care while working collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure a safe and healing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.

Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the RN.

Perform non-invasive procedures within competency documentation and scope of practice.

Support nursing staff with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Accurately document patient care activities in the electronic medical record.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (required)

Certification : Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)

Required Skills

Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity.

Ability to speak and write English fluently.

Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology.
