Mobile Drug Screen Collector / Phlebotomist

Type : Part-Time / Full-Time, Mobile

Job Description :

As a Drug Screen Collector / Phlebotomist, you will perform critical specimen collection tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This includes conducting urine drug screen collections and phlebotomy within a pre-arranged territory

Specimen Collection :

  • Perform drug screen and phlebotomy specimen collections following established procedures.
  • Accurately complete chain-of-custody forms and other requisitions.
  • Responsibilities include traveling to client offices or off-site locations to perform drug testing collection and / or phlebotomy duties as required.
  • DOT Certified Drug and Alcohol Collector a PLUS but not required.

Responsibilities :

  • Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
  • Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
  • Accurately labeling all samples.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.

    • Requirements :

  • Proven experienced phlebotomist.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid Auto Insurance.
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills.
  • Knowledge regarding HIPAA / PHI law.
  • Detail-oriented / sound organizational skills.
  • Professional, responsible, self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer / scanner : to print, scan, and upload completed documents.

    • Physical and Availability Requirements :

  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or focus for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility for on-call collections, including weekends and holidays.
