Security Officer - Armed Building Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Building Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service while patrolling a commercial real estate location. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering a dynamic environment where your presence and professionalism help create a welcoming atmosphere. Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Monday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Wednesday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Thursday 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Saturday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sunday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and / or tenants.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and / or irregularities according to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required during emergency situations or when additional support is needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
