Job Description :

The primary function of this Licensed Practical Nurse is to perform a range of nursing duties in an acute medical-surgical setting. As a member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with registered nurses and other medical professionals to provide patient care that meets the highest standards.

Responsibilities Include : )

Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information

Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare providers

Serving as a resource for patients and families, addressing their concerns and providing education on health-related topics

Requirements :

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience :

Minimum Requirements Include : )

A current LPN license in Louisiana

A minimum of one year of experience in a similar nursing role

BLS certification

Additional Considerations : )

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work flexible schedules, including evenings and nights

Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
