Summary

Responsible for restocking, selling, monitoring product stock, and assisting customers in the golf shop.

Responsibilities

• Performs department opening and closing procedures including tournament prep.
• Generates revenue by maximizing sales opportunities.
• Responds to daily email and voice mail.
• Ships guest purchases.
• Merchandises retail products.
• Tags and stocks retail merchandise.
• Assist in monthly inventory counting.
• Keeps all areas of the retail area clean and well-stocked.
• Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
• Performs special projects delegated by management.
• Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.

Skills Required

Experience

Previous experience in retail or golf preferred. Previous experience with computer technology including point of sale systems and customer service.

Working Conditions

Scheduled shifts require attending the golf shop, stocking / restocking inventory, preparing for current golf tournaments, and assisting every customer. Opening shifts will start as early as 5 : 00 AM and closing shifts often require staff until 9 : 00 PM.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle merchandise. The associate must occasionally lift and / or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation

Part Time - $18 hourly + commission from golf shop sales.
