FIELD CAMP MANAGER — PETRENKO (SEASONAL, GREENLAND)

Lead the daily operation of a remote scientific field camp (about 10–12 people) on the Greenland ice sheet. Approximate field season : May–July 2026, with pre / post work and training in the U.S. and Greenland.

What You'll Do

• Plan daily priorities with the Principal Investigator and partners; oversee camp setup and closeout.
• Serve as safety lead; complete check-ins and report incidents / near misses.
• Coordinate aircraft support : cargo / load priorities, crew communications, resupply, and hazmat documentation.
• Supervise camp maintenance (structures, sanitation, fuel / water systems, waste).
• Menu plan, ship / store food, prepare two hot meals per day, set out lunch supplies, and ensure food safety.
• Act as designated firearm handler (employer-provided training); maintain safe storage and response protocols.
• Uphold permits and fieldwork conduct requirements.
