Position Overview :

The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs routine and complex analytical procedures, recognizes deviations, and provides interpretation following established laboratory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct high-complexity diagnostic testing across hematology, chemistry, immunology, or microbiology.

Analyze, interpret, and verify test results, ensuring precision and compliance with quality standards.

Perform and document quality control procedures and equipment calibrations.

Identify instrument malfunctions and perform basic troubleshooting.

Maintain specimen integrity, laboratory documentation, and patient confidentiality.

Provide guidance to less experienced staff and participate in ongoing process improvement.

Support laboratory inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

U.S. Citizenship required.

Experience performing high-complexity testing under CLIA standards.

Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and quality assurance processes.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
