Job descriptionThis is a dedicated float position requiring flexibility to float between ICU / Intermediate / Stepdown / Med Surg units based on patient volume Work 3x12 night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM on weekdays with up to 2 weekends per month 4x12 shifts may be considered if requested at time of submittal (overtime after 48 hours) Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays during contract period No holiday RTO requests will be accepted Blocked schedule requests will be considered if requested at time of submittal Patient ratios typically 1 : 5-6 depending on patient acuity and unit assignment Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified) 1-2 years of nursing experience required, travel experience preferred Must have recent EPIC EMR experience and proficiency Active North Carolina or Multistate nursing license required Dress code requires all white or all navy scrubs Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with various medical / surgical conditions Skills include isolation precautions, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and rapid response team activation May be required to float to CNA level discipline within scope of practice based on staffing needs Must reside more than 40 miles from facility with driver's license verification required Referral bonus
