Position : RN – Labor & Delivery (LDRP)

Shift : Days, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Details :

License : Active NY (must be in hand)

Experience : Minimum 2 years in L&D; no first-time travelers

Local : Not accepted (must live 50+ miles away)

Weekend : Every other weekend

Scrubs : Provided

Certifications : BLS, NRP

Skills Required :

Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Mother / Baby, triage, sterile vaginal exams, fetal monitoring, IV therapy, antihypertensives, blood product administration, vaginal / C-section assistance, postpartum & newborn care, discharge teaching, pain management, and isolation precautions.

Unit Details :

Cross-trained in L&D, postpartum, and newborn care

~50 births / month

Rooms : 8

Documentation : Meditech / IntelliSpace Perinatal

Med System : Pyxis

Communication : SBAR

Patient Population : Neonates, infants, adults
