Travel Nurse RN - Neuro ICU - $2,754 per week in Columbia, MO

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Neuro ICU Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 1 year in Neuro ICU preferred License : Active RN license required Certifications : ACLS BLS NIHSS preferred Must-Have : Experience in Neuro ICU with strong Neuro checklist Stroke experience Description : Provide care to critically ill patients in the Neuroscience ICU. Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 2. Float to ICU and Medical Surgical units as needed. Work every other weekend with a commitment to 50% of holidays. Possess skills in arterial line management and ventilator management. Administer blood products and manage central lines. Conduct ICP monitoring and EVD management. Interpret arterial blood gases and manage dysrhythmias. Use isolation precautions and PPE effectively. Demonstrate proficient care of ventilated patients. Be familiar with stroke management protocols. Engage with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services. Provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of neurological conditions. Participate in ongoing education and training as required.
