ABOUT THE ROLE
The Construction Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of datacenter construction projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, budget, and timeline requirements. This role requires expertise in construction management and coordination with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all phases of datacenter campus construction, including site preparation, building, and infrastructure installation.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project alignment.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Monitor construction progress and resolve issues related to delays, quality, or safety.
Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to specifications.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
Manage permitting processes and liaise with local authorities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Education
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience
5-7 years of construction management experience, preferably in datacenter or large-scale industrial projects.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
Knowledge of datacenter infrastructure (e.g., power, cooling, cabling).
Understanding of construction safety and environmental regulations.
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Certifications (preferred) : PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work full time at construction sites, navigate uneven terrain, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
