Assistant Manager
Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facility approximately daily. Training and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to perform basic math and make correct monetary change. Motor coordination and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen are required. The position involves exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, in-store temperatures, fumes, and commercial dust, as well as cramped quarters and hot surfaces / tools. The ability to direct activities, work under stress, meet quality control standards, and navigate stairs or climb a ladder is necessary. The job also requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping / bending, crouching / squatting, reaching, and hand tasks.
The position also requires delivering products by car and to the door of the customer, delivering flyers and doorhangers, and requires a valid driver license with a safe driving record. Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within a designated delivery area are necessary, as well as the ability to carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties during delivery. The position involves exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and couponing, as well as far vision and night vision for driving.
