About The Position

Job Title : Pharmacy Technician

Hours per Shift : 8 hours per day, 5 shifts per week

Experience : One (1) year of experience required; pharmacy dispensing, sterile processing, and IV room experience preferred

License : Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Pharmacy Technician

Certifications : Primary Source Verification of License and Registration for Registered Pharmacy Technician required

Must-Have :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacy Technician

Description :

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, pharmacy technicians will assist pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications, as well as maintaining drug inventory.

Pharmacy technicians must adhere to federal, state, and local laws and other regulatory requirements regarding pharmacy and institutional practice.

The role involves performing related work and rotating between various assignments and shifts.

Pharmacy technicians will need to perform work with accuracy and attention to detail within specified time frames.

Responsibilities include receiving, returning, and delivering medications, medication carts, and supplies to various areas.

Pharmacy technicians are expected to operate equipment properly and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems as needed.
