Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract-based opportunity is available for a speech-language pathology expert needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Hilton Head Island, SC. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language services to students to help improve their communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals.
- Provide direct speech-language services through traditional and teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning sessions.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).Experience in teletherapy and delivery of remote speech-language services.Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or completed.Previous experience working in school-based settings, covering K-12 populations.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.Ready to take the next step in your career?
