Welder & Fabricator – Contract to Hire

Location : Knapp, WI

Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 6 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM (occasional Fridays)

Type : Contract-to-Hire

🛠 Build Custom Steel Projects from Start to FinishWe’re looking for a versatile Welder & Fabricator to join a fast-paced custom job shop where every day brings something new. In this hands-on role, you’ll take ownership of your builds — from sourcing materials and reading blueprints to performing flux-core welds and finishing touches. If you thrive in a collaborative shop and enjoy seeing your work come to life, this is the opportunity for you.What You’ll Be Doing :

• Source and prep materials for fabrication
• Perform FCAW welding on mild steel components
• Read and apply welding symbols and blueprints accurately
• Support fabrication tasks like painting and material handling during downtime
• Work independently on structural steel projects

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 / hr.
