Behavioral Support Specialist

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavioral Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and care to individuals with unique needs and goals.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop personalized behavioral care plans that help individuals reach their full potential. Your creativity, patience, and dedication will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve.

Develop and implement individualized behavioral care plans in collaboration with our HCBS Supervisor and Programmer.

Provide direct support services to individuals based on their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities Teach individuals skills to achieve their goals, rather than completing tasks for them.

Use behavioral strategies to support individuals and address any behaviors that hinder their success.

Motivate and encourage individuals to participate in their care plans and reach their goals.

Participate in recreational, community, and social activities with those you serve, respecting their choices and autonomy.
