About the Clinician's Workday

The schedule involves working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM, and Thursday from 7 : 30 AM to 11 : 30 AM. After-hours clinic call is required 11 days per month, starting after the last patient (around 4 : 00-4 : 30 PM) and ending at 7 : 00 AM the following day, with weekend call shifts running from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 AM. There is no hospital or ER call, but hospital doctors may call for consultations or medication questions.
