ABOUT THE POSITION

Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer | Watertown, MA | Boston, MA

We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT Operations team and take the lead in designing, implementing, and advancing core infrastructure systems to support VHB's 30+ offices across the East Coast.

This is a senior-level technical position. If you thrive on solving complex challenges, designing automated solutions, and optimizing systems for security and scalability, while working as part of a collaborative team and mentoring others, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

IT Projects

Lead design, scope, and execution of major IT infrastructure initiatives.

• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across infrastructure and endpoint management.
• Develop strategies for hybrid cloud / on-premises environments to optimize performance and cost.
• Design and implement disaster recovery plans encompassing both cloud and on-premises systems.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and environment diagrams, supporting organizational change management and operating procedures.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for identity and infrastructure technologies.
