About the Job : We are currently seeking a senior mortgage banker to join our residential lending team. The Sr. Mortgage Banker is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans by developing and maintaining a network of referral sources and cultivating new business opportunities to increase the Bank's share of the local real estate market. The incumbent solicits first mortgages through contacts with realtors, builders, and developers and is critical in leading Rosedale Bank to achieve the strategic initiatives of increasing consumer and residential lending and meeting the Bank's sales and service objectives. The Sr. Mortgage Banker works with customers and prospective customers to assist them in identifying and securing a mortgage loan that is appropriate for their individual financial circumstances and is designed to help them achieve their financial goals, including home ownership.

In this position you will :

• Proactively source and develop new mortgage loan business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and marketing efforts.
• Conduct borrower consultations to assess financial needs, ascertain their capacity to repay, assess the degree of risk involved and recommend appropriate loan products. Analyze customer's financial status, credit and property evaluation to determine the feasibility of granting a loan.
• Guide customers through the mortgage loan process from application to closing, maintaining communication and ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
• Maintain and manage a pipeline of active loans and maintain accurate records of client interactions and loan progress using CRM and loan origination systems.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly loan production goals.
• Engages in customer specific persuasive sales activity to encourage potential customers to do business with the Bank. Cross promotes other services and financial products of Bank to potential and existing customers, as needed.
