About the Role

We’re looking for a licensed Tax Advisor (CPA or Enrolled Agent) who loves helping small businesses understand their finances, plan proactively, and feel supported through every tax season. You’ll collaborate closely with our bookkeeping and advisory teams to deliver accurate, thoughtful tax guidance — not just once a year, but all year long. If you’re tired of the grind-and-go model of traditional firms and want to do meaningful, relational work in a culture that genuinely cares about people, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Partner with clients and the FitBooks bookkeeping team to develop proactive tax strategies
• Lead monthly or quarterly meetings with small business owners to discuss financials, growth, and planning
• Identify opportunities for clients to save money, stay compliant, and build smarter financial habits
• Support the internal team with tax insights and training to help everyone 'get 1% better' each day
• Jump in where needed — we’re a small, growing firm and we all wear a few hats
