We are seeking an experienced Program Manager Aviation to lead the successful delivery of multiple aviation design and construction projects. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies, and ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation infrastructure, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage aviation infrastructure projects from proposal through close-out.
  • Coordinate internal resources, subconsultants, and project teams including architects, engineers, and designers.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, FAA, state DOTs, subcontractors, and design teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation of design documents including drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with client design standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and implement quality control procedures.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare permitting documents and support regulatory submissions.
  • Support business development efforts including proposal writing, teaming strategies, and client engagement.
  • Provide on-site project and program management support as needed.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff and technical personnel.

Here's What You'll Need :

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing aviation infrastructure projects.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and preparing technical specifications and contract documents.
  • Familiarity with LEED certification and OSHA safety requirements.
  • Ability to resolve complex design and coordination challenges.
  • Experience with CPM scheduling and project tracking tools.
  • Ideally You'll Also Have :
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with airport authorities and aviation regulatory bodies.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and permitting processes.

    The base salary range for this position is $225,000.00 to $250,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
