Crofton is seeking a Project Manager to join our team.
The ideal Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency
with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Plan, develop, and implement projects while managing project staff and deadlines.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverablesDefine project tasks / activities, resource requirements and timeline.Develop full-scale project plans and manage project budgetAssemble and coordinate project staff.Manage project resource allocation.Plan and schedule project timelines.Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.Provide direction and support to project team.Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all.Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.Required Skills / Abilities :
Qualification in Construction project management (PM)Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of PM and Marine ConstructionKnowledge of PM techniques and toolsExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, MS Project and PM SoftwareEducation and Experience :
Minimum Bachelors degree in construction management or experience equivalentMinimum of 4 years of experience in this or related positionPhysical Requirements :
Able to lift 40 pounds at a timeAscending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.Exposure to characteristic construction and marine site dangersRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and / or fingers.Operating machinery and / or power tools.Work in extreme weather conditionsAbility to see and respond to dangerous situationsAble to traverse all areas of the jobsite in all types of weather; this may require walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
