Job descriptionDiagnose and troubleshoot vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic tools Perform routine maintenance : oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, etc. Conduct full inspections on engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems Clearly explain repairs and service recommendations to customers Maintain detailed service records and follow shop procedures Ensure customer satisfaction and promote repeat business High school diploma or GED (required) Automotive technician training program or associate degree (preferred) Valid Michigan State Certification or ASE Certification (preferred – or willing to obtain) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience using diagnostic software and repair systems A positive, “never give up” attitude A passion for fixing vehicles right the first time The drive to learn and grow in the automotive industry
