Lead APP
Position Summary : The Lead APP oversees Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners in the designated service line, ensuring high-quality patient service and compliance with licensing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote professional growth and performance of all APPs.
- Collaborate with Holy Cross and service line leadership teams to meet patient care standards and quality metrics.
- Support recruitment, orientation, and ongoing training of APPs, including program development.
- Lead APP meetings to discuss staffing, recruiting, and performance indicators.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching for APPs.
- Collaborate with leadership to review performance indicators and assess patient and staff satisfaction outcomes.
- Identify and administer program changes to improve quality and scope of services.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with physicians, nursing and clinical staff.
- Participate in physician meetings and community outreach programs.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.National Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) or physician assistant board certification.Current license in the State of Florida.Current CPR / BLS; ACLS preferred.
1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.Recent multi-disciplinary health care workplace experience.Strong communication, analytical, and customer service skills.Computer proficiency in EPIC, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Compensation & Benefits
