Maintenance Technician

Monday-Friday 1st Shift

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical, and electrical systems by adhering to safety procedures and performing regular maintenance tasks. This role involves conducting equipment checks, performing repairs, and supporting building upkeep, all while maintaining clear communication with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular equipment and system checks to identify issues and document performance.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Service and maintain docks, commercial doors, locks, and hardware.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks such as filter changes, oil changes, and lubrication.
• Assist with building upkeep including patching, painting, and lighting repairs.
• Document work in the CMMS system and recommend updates to maintenance plans.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and customers regarding work status and expectations.
• Support subcontractors and ensure work aligns with site standards.
• Participate in required safety training and follow life-critical work procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00 / hr.
