Must-Have :

Experience in inpatient, outpatient, and trauma settings required.

Experience in sterilization, decontamination, assembly / wrapping, case cart, HLD, and scrubbing required.

Candidate should have experience in surgery cases such as Ortho, Urology, Endo / Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Gyn, Bariatrics, Plastics, Podiatry, ENT, Transplant, Robotics, and Implants. Opthalmology experience preferred.

Description :

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for maintaining sterile instruments and equipment for surgical procedures.

The technician will prepare and sterilize surgical instruments in compliance with industry standards.

Daily caseload per technician is 65 surgical cases and a tray volume of 1200.

Weekend work is required.

The technician will not float between units.

Experience utilizing sterilization processes and equipment is crucial.

Documentation will primarily be completed using an instrumentation management system.

A strong commitment to quality and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Candidates will be expected to work rotating weekends as part of their schedule.

Training will be provided on required systems for documentation and sterilization processes.
